Another useful way of using your talent is preparing handmade gifts. We have to attend so many occasions like birthdays, parties and buy gifts. In fact we spend quite a hefty sum of amount on gifts. But instead we could make something with our hands and gift these handmade things; this will cost us a lot less, and most importantly these gifts will have a personal touch. You could make anything. For kids you could easily make handmade toys; the novelty of that toy will make the kid really happy. For your friends you could make handmade jewelry;you can make bracelets, neck pieces and even earrings. Be innovative with the use of materials. Be as colorful as you could. Make handmade bags. Your friend will be more than happy to show it off. If you put a little more effort then you can make showpieces too.
The best part is if you take art and craft making seriously and if you are really good at it, then you could easily open a craft making class; you could teach others to be creative and could earn some money too. If your products are really good then you could open an boutique also. So be creative.

Attending crafts class is vital as it helps you be creative. It feels wonderful to learn to make something. Even though that might not be really good; but still this way children learn to be confident and this helps them in future life.

We all have attended crafts classes in school. We learned to make so many things. I remember in my school I learned to make origami; it was brilliant; craft classes should remain an important part of the curriculum.

We are all familiar with the kind of pressure the children go through in school. They usually have to do homework assignments, study for frequent tests; so they hardly find the time to relax; however thanks to such creative activities they can finally relax.

Somehow I could not agree with your view. I do not think all kids like to attend crafts classes. Basically not all kids are gifted with creative skills; so in this scenario, kids who do not have any inclination towards art might find this boring.

Considering needs of students, it would be better to make this class optional; but I also agree that for overall growth of a kid such courses are necessary. But if a kid is not being able to cope with the pressure then there is no point in forcing him to continue with crafts lessons.

I have a friend she is good at designing; she decided to learn arts; now she is a designer; she has opened a couple of boutiques; she is a great designer and she is doing great in terms of career. So I think if you are really talented you could definitely succeed.

Making things for friends feels great; I have always gifted handmade things to my friends; I mostly make jewelry, so basically I love making little pieces for my friends; they love these gifts and they appreciate it as I make them myself.

I absolutely agree with your view that, arts and crafts could really come in handy. I always go for handmade gifts; from my childhood I loved making things; later on I pursued this hobby of mine; I enrolled for classes where I learned to make toys and other home decoration items; so basically I make all my gifts.
